  1. Storytelling Workshop for Homeschoolers: Garden/Nature Stories (Grades 2+)

    April 25, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Children's Storytime Area

    Storytelling Workshop for Homeschoolers is a 3-week course. This sessions theme is Garden/Nature Stories. The instructors will help children learn the basics of creating, telling, and remembering stories. The instructor for this session is Anne Wallace. A personal notebook and pen or pencil is required of each student at each class session. Classes are free and open to the public and will be held in the Storytime Area of the Peachtree City Library. Registration is required. Classes are open to grades 2+.

  5. After Hours Artist Closing Reception

    The Peachtree City Library Arts Initiative’s featured artists exhibited their works for two months on the art grids within the library. Our featured artists for March and April were Marklyn Wilson, a mixed media collage artist from College Park, Ga., and Teresa Foshee, a fine art photographer from Sharpsburg, Ga. Marklyn Wilson recently won “Best of Show” in Arts Clayton’s 2018 juried show. Teresa Foshee has exhibited in the past as one of our monthly artists with the Newnan Coweta Art Association. This event is free and open to the public.

  6. Emerging Voices: South Atlanta

    Come one, come all and tell us a story! The Peachtree City Library and the Southern Crescent Storytellers present Emerging Voices: South Atlanta. Beginning storytellers of all ages are welcome to participate and tell a story. Each story can be no more than 5-7 minutes long and all stories must be family friendly (i.e.-no rudeness, no foul language, no bodily functions, and nothing demeaning). Poetry is allowed. This program free and open to the public. It will be held in the Children's Department of the Peachtree City Library. No registration required.
