  3. Storytelling Workshop for Homeschoolers: Cinder Tales (Grades 2+)

    October 18, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Children's Storytime Area

    Storytelling Workshop for Homeschoolers is a 4-week course. This sessions theme is Cinder Tales. The instructors will help children learn the basics of creating, telling, and remembering stories. Instructors for this session are Anne Wallace, Teller-In-Waiting and Dr. Beth Anne Miles. A personal notebook and pen or pencil is required of each student at each class session. Classes are free and open to the public and will be held in the Storytime Area of the Peachtree City Library. Registration is required. Classes are open to grades 2+.

  8. Meet the Artists Fiona Dennis and Tina Persons

    The Peachtree City Library's artists for the month of October represent two local art associations, Tina Persons with the Newnan-Coweta Art Association and Fiona Dennis representing the Fayette Society of Fine Arts. Each month the associations supply two different local artists to display their work in the library. We are pleased to offer a new opportunity for these artists to meet the public. Both artists will be available to discuss their techniques and inspirations. This event will be held near their artwork located on the main floor of the Peachtree City Library. This program is free and open to the public.

    Join us after hours for a epic battle between the living and the undead. Zombies vs. Humans...who will win? You must bring a Nerf gun and lots of Nerf “ammo”! Protective Eyewear Recommended There is no charge for this event, however donations for the homeless will be greatly appreciated. Including: Individual Servings (with pop-tops) of beans/wienies, soups, stews, raisins, breakfast bars, juice boxes, instant oatmeal, puddings, applesauce, toothpaste, bottled water, plastic cutlery, baby wipes, and other toiletries. No items requiring refrigeration or a can opener, please.
