Council Discusses Annexation, Master Planning, Economic Development at March 6 Workshop

At the first of their 2018 Retreat Workshops on March 6, the Peachtree City Mayor and Council reviewed a wide range of data and issues related to master planning, economic development, and potential annexation areas. 

Speakers included Pete Frisina, the Director of Planning & Zoning for Fayette County, Richard Fangman of Pond and Associates (working with the SR 74 Gateway Coalition on the SR 74 Corridor Study), Megan Baker of the Fayette County Development Authority, Robin Cailloux, the Senior Planner for Peachtree City, and City Manager Jon Rorie.

Two additional Retreat sessions are scheduled for April and May at City Hall:
  • Tuesday, April 3 (6:30 p.m.) - Council Focus Topics
  • Tuesday, May 1 (6:30 p.m.) - Service Strategies - Legal Services, Solid Waste Services, etc.
The public is welcome.
