The City of Peachtree City has full-time City Manager who oversees the day-to-day operations of the seven divisions, each of which is led by a Director or Chief.

Administrative Services includes the City Clerk, Public Information, Municipal Court, and Human Resources functions at City Hall.  Financial Services, also located at City Hall, includes the City's Purchasing Department and Information Technology.  Downstairs, the Community Development Division houses the Planning, Engineering, Stormwater Management, Building and Code Enforcement departments.

Public Works, located on McIntosh Trail, maintains Peachtree City's streets, paths, and landscaping, and operates the Peachtree City Recycling Center on Rockaway Road.  Leisure Services includes both Recreation and the Library.  Public Safety is managed by Peachtree City's Police Department and Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department.
