Our mission is to protect life and property, to address neighborhood concerns, and to be progressive through modern technology and innovative programs. We will adopt proactive community policing concepts, develop effective crime prevention programs, and ensure high visibility by utilizing well-designed patrol strategies. We will attempt to aggressively identify and apprehend criminals and reduce the opportunities for crime, while maintaining human dignity and the individual rights of our citizens. We will be responsive to social, geographical, and economical changes within our community. We recognize the value of Peachtree City’s unique cultural diversity and will treat each person, regardless of their race, ethnicity, creed, color, or religion, with courtesy, respect, equity and dignity.

Job Openings
The Peachtree City Police Department has immediate job openings for the following positions:

1.  Full Time Police Officer (certified and uncertified).  Applications need to be sent to Human ResourcesClick here to go directly to an application for employment.

2.  Part Time Court Bailiff (GA POST certified officers only).  The part-time court bailiff will work on Wednesdays from 0700 to the end of court.  This officer is eligible for extra duty employment.  All requirements and expectations of a full-time sworn officer must be met. 

2.  Auxiliary Police Force Officer (administrative, special projects, and patrol positions available).   Auxiliary officers assist with limited traffic control, special events, and road safety check points.  There are numerous administrative assistance positions available.
