What is the purpose of The Youth Council?
The purpose of the PTCYC is to provide coordination of youth issues in Peachtree City and surrounding Fayette County and enable youth to participate as partners, to improve the quality of life in our community. The Youth Council’s purpose shall further be as follows:
1. To act as a focal point in listening to and advising the community of Fayette County
regarding issues concerning youth or that impact their future.
2. To have meetings open to the public whereby matters of concern to youth may be
discussed and ideas exchanged.
3. To provide and implement youth involvement in the PTCYC through community
programs and special events.

The Peachtree City Youth Council meetings are scheduled for the 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall Council Chambers at
151 Willowbend Road in Peachtree City. Please check the calendar on the right side of this page for important dates and events.
