Multi-Use Path & Motorized Cart Safety Certification Program

Peachtree City’s hallmark is its 90-mile network of multi-use paths for pedestrians, cyclists, and golf carts.  Peachtree City residents can go from neighborhood to shopping centers, schools, and parks through the wooded scenery that makes Peachtree City special.  With such a unique transportation system, safety on our multi-use path system is a priority. 

The Peachtree City Police Department has several programs in place to provide for a safe environment on the city's multi-use path system.

The department has developed the first multi-use path safety program in the nation for motorized carts.  This program involves an on-line education program followed by a practical test.  Please goto:  www.peachtree-city.org/golfcartsafety or http://www3.peachtree-city.org/elearning/moodle/.

Golf Cart Registration Forms:

Ownership Release  form is required if selling cart to remove your name from legal responsibility for the cart, or if cart or decal is destroyed.

Ownership Transfer  form is required for purchasers of already registered motorized carts - there is a $5 transfer fee.
Bring forms and any associated payment to City Hall, 151 Willowbend Road.  Out-of-city cart owners are assessed an annual $60 path use fee in addition to the decal cost.
