ArtsIn Went Out: Reception & Celebration

Saturday, April 14th @ 3:00 pm

Artists, photographers, and poets were invited to Bloomsbury Lane Farm, a cut-flower farm in Brooks, Ga., during two weekends in late March and early April. Tonight, they come together to share and celebrate their creative endeavors. The public is invited to come see the art work that evolved from these sessions. This program is FREE and will be held at the Peachtree City Library.

Meet the Artists, Berry Smith and Rowda S. Schwenning
Sunday, April 15th @ 2:00 pm

The Peachtree City Library's artists for the month of April represent two local art associations, Berry Smith with the Fayette Society of Fine Art and Rowda S. Schwenning with the Coweta-Newnan Art Association. Each month these associations supply two different local artists to display their work in the library. We are pleased to offer a new opportunity for these artists to meet the public. Both artists will be available to discuss their artwork and inspirations. This event will be held near their artwork located on the main floor of the Peachtree City Library. This program is free and open to the public.

After Hours Artists Closing Reception
Saturday, April 28th @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Peachtree City Library Arts Initiative’s featured artists who exhibited their work for two months on the art grids within the library. Our featured artists for March and April were Marklyn Wilson, a mixed media collage artist from College Park, Ga., and Teresa Foshee, a fine art photographer from Sharpsburg, Ga. Marklyn Wilson recently won “Best of Show” in Arts Clayton’s 2018 juried show. Teresa Foshee has exhibited in the past as one of our monthly artists with the Newnan Coweta Art Association. This event is free and open to the public.
