Important Message: All programs are FREE, but require ONE TICKET PER PERSON for each event. All registration is done online. When registering you must have a PINES library card. Any reservation without a valid PINES library card number will automatically be cancelled. NO SHOWS without a 2 hour cancellation notice will be charged a fee of $2 for each unused ticket. This fee will be charged to your library card. DO NOT register a friend unless you are sure they will attend, otherwise YOU will be responsible for the no-show fee. In order to accommodate as many children as possible, there is a limit of one adult ticket per family for each performance. The library tries to schedule a variety of programs that appeal to various ages, however parents are the best judges of appropriateness and appeal to their children. 4- Week Phonics Summer Camp
(rising 2nd & 3rd graders)

2 Sessions Available: 2pm & 3pm
Growing Strong Minds LLC is a tutoring program that strives to cultivate young minds. One reason is poor phonemic awareness. When students learn how the sounds in words work, it helps them develop new reading comprehension skills. Growing Strong Minds will provide rising 2nd & 3rd graders with a 4 week phonics camp at the Peachtree City Library this summer.
Students must commit to a minimum of 3 weeks of attendance. A no show fee of $10 will be billed to a patrons account for having more than one unexcused absence. Seating is limited. Registration Required.

A Company of Friends Theater Presents: Little Red and the Hoods (Live Theater)

This delightful 45-minute tale of Little Red Riding Hood is told with modern lessons for today’s children. This play teaches its young audiences about not judging people by their looks, how to protect themselves from strangers and the importance of reading. With plenty of participation, this show is both fun and educational at the same time.
