**Storytime event will be held outside. No registration required. Be sure to bring a blanket and/or chair, and enjoy the performance. Storytime events will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.**

Beginning Monday, August 2nd the library will end all remaining COVID restrictions. Please visit the COVID-19 page for more information on openings and availability.

Parents are welcome to come, but not required

Children must bring one of the following to participate:

  • A smartphone / tablet to play Pokemon Go for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo 3DS to play Pokemon: Ultra Sun and Pokemon: Ultra Moon for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo Switch to play Pokemon Let’s Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let’s Go: Pikachu for casual trading and battling.
  • Pokemon trading cards for casual trading and battling.

CAREing Paws, Come Read to a Dog

Saturday, September 11th @ 10:00 am

The CAREing Paws Program utilizes registered therapy dogs to improve literacy skills for children. If your child struggles with reading this may be for you. It is designed to boost the self-esteem of new readers. Open to children in Grades K-5.

The library offers six 20 minute slots. Parents must call in advance to reserve a time for their child. Children may bring a book or choose a book at the library.

Teens ages 13-18 are welcome to sign up to join the Peachtree City Library’s Teen Book Club. Teens will meet once per month to read and discuss books in the Young Adult genre.

Gladiators

Altanta Gladiators: Hat Trick for Reading
September 1st—December 20th, 2021

When a hockey player scores 3 goals in 1 game it is called a hat trick. Who says you have to be on skates to complete a hat trick? From now until December 20th, kids who read 3 books can earn a free ticket to an Atlanta Gladiators game at Gas South District Arena in Duluth, Ga.

How it works

  • Read 3 Books

  • Receive an email confirmation with access to redeem (1) free ticket voucher for one of three select game nights. November 14th, January 7, 2022, & March 13, 2022
