Designed for postnatal mothers, Mommy and Me Yoga allows for a gentle ease back into exercise after the birth of baby. This soothing class incorporates gentle yoga postures for moms as well as music, massage, and playtime for baby. Classes are 45 minutes. The class will take place at the Drake Field Pavilion.

*It is recommended to wait 6 weeks post-delivery before taking this class, 10-12 weeks if baby was delivered via Cesarean Section* No registration required.

Movie Release Party for
Lyle, Lyle Crocodile

Join the Peachtree City Library at NCG Cinemas-Newnan to celebrate the release of the new movie Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile. The library will be on hand to conduct story times and activities to celebrate the beloved, best selling book. 

The program and festivities are free and open to the public, however ticket purchase is required for movie attendance.

Parents are welcome to come, but not required.

NOTE: All ages are welcome, but be advised this event primarily supports younger players (ages 6-13) who are more focused on trading cards, not battling. More advanced Pokémon Master’s into competitive play (ages 17+), please visit the Newnan Pokémon League on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm for weekly tournaments!

Children must bring one of the following to participate:

  • A smartphone / tablet to play Pokémon Go for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo 3DS to play Pokémon: Ultra Sun and Pokémon: Ultra Moon for casual trading and battling.
  • A Nintendo Switch to play Pokémon Let’s Go: Eevee and Pokémon Let’s Go: Pikachu for casual trading and battling.
  • Pokémon trading cards for casual trading and battling.

Show us your best pumpkin and Jack O’ Lantern designs. Winners will be announced in each of 3 categories, (Ages 5 and under, Ages 6-9, and Ages 10-12). Pick up a pumpkin pattern entry form at the Children’s Desk or print one here

All entries are due by 3pm on Saturday, October 15th. Winners will be announced on Facebook Friday, October 21st.
