Public Participation

The LCI grant requires extensive public participation. The public kick-off meeting occurred on February 27. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic struck the US at the same time that the remaining public participation events were scheduled, and the Planning Team had to quickly determine how to proceed. To comply with the Governor's Executive Orders, online tools were used to help keep the LCI progressing.  

However, these online tools had limited success in the Peachtree City community. The City requested an extension of the grant to hopefully allow in-person public participation events. The public gathering limitations were subsequently lifted in time to allow in-person meetings with certain social distancing requirements. 

The sections below summarize the various public participation events of the LCI planning process. Graphics and documents are provided in PDF form; many are large files.
