An Engaged Workforce
Our annual employee picnic is a summertime event to show appreciation to our employees. We hold the event at either Drake Field or The Frederick Brown Amphitheater.
One of the events is the annual employee holiday & awards luncheon. This is our traditional way of recognizing and honoring our employees who exemplify the city's values. Those recognized go above and beyond expectations in their conduct, work ethic, dedication, and above all their passion for the position they hold with the city.
Our employees receive free passes for themselves and their families for the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center, and Glenloch Recreation Center.
Held annually at the Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center, the benefits fair engages and informs our employees to help them on their journey to physical, financial, and mental fitness.
Our GEM Awards are our way of recognizing and honoring our employees. Those recognized go above and beyond expectations in their work performance, customer service, leadership, innovation, or being a team player. This program is to encourage recognition of City staff who have significantly benefited the city and have gone the extra mile to make contributions beyond the usual expectations of their employment.
